the
GEOCACHING is a wonderful outdoor hobby
where folks use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver to find “treasure”
caches hidden by fellow geocachers. Want to learn about GPS to enhance your
outdoor activities? If so, the sport of geocaching is for you. Your are sure to
find wonderful outdoor adventure spots you never knew about before!
Lewis
and Clark Caverns near Cardwell hosts candlelight tours of part of the cave
during the last three weekends in December. Reservations are necessary

The Prickly Pear Land Trust is an excellent partner in
The Montana Discovery Foundation sponsors
nature hikes each month; including moonlight snowshoe hikes in the
winter. These are especially suitable for young folks or others who want
an opportunity to go slowly and appreciate the surrounding beauty. Hikes

created the Helena Area Hiking Guide. Check out the website for this
publication at http://helenahikes.org/hahgHome.html . The purpose of the site is for folks to be
able to share their comments, photos, alternate routes, etc. with
one-another.
Park-2-Park Montana ride is
celebrating its Fifth Annual bike ride across Montana from
